무언가 거기에 그대로 남아 있기를.

지나간 후에 남은 것은 무엇인지 돌아본다.
I look back on what's left after it's gone.

"있다."는 의미만큼 좋은 게 있었을까.
Was there anything as good as meaning of "there is".

지금 그대로 있다.
To stay as it is, now.

말이 주는 풍성한 만족감.
The full satisfaction from words.

어쩌면 시간에 기대는 의미란,
Maybe, the meaning of leaning on time,

그렇게 시작했는지 모른다.
started like that.

"있다." 거기에 그대로 있다.
"There is." To stay there as it is.

그러면 됐다.
That is enough.

어느 것 하나쯤 돌아 본 자리에 있어주길 바랬다.
I wanted at least one thing to stay where I've looked back.
